THE WEEKND HINTS AT SELENA GOMEZ BREAKUP AFTER SHE’S SPOTTED WITH JUSTIN BIEBER

The Weeknd fans think the musician could be hinting at a possible breakup with Selena Gomez after the singer – who was first linked to the “Starboy” singer back in January – was recently spotted out and about with her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.

After Selena and Justin were photographed together on multiple occasions over the past few days following their breakup in 2014, fans of the musician noticed that he may have been hinting at a possible split on social media.

A number of Twitter users claimed that The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, may have split with Selena after noticing that he appeared to be exhibiting some pretty strange behavior across social media after Gomez and Bieber were photographed together last week.

Twitter user @vulgardahling alleged on October 29 that The Weeknd had unfollowed a number of Selena’s inner circle on Instagram, including her mom Mandy Teefey, her assistant Theresa Mingus, and a fan account which posted photos of himself and the “The Heart Wants What It Wants” singer.

Another fan also claimed that he’d unfollowed further fan accounts dedicated to himself and Gomez and alleged that he then clicked the unfollow button for a few more of the singer’s close friends on the photo and video sharing site.

Others noted that the R&B star then liked a number of photos posted to Instagram by Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima that were uploaded to her account several weeks ago, though he still continues to follow Gomez while she still follows him.

Fans of the couple, often referred to by the couple name “Abelena,” also noted that Gomez appeared to be a little down in a recent video posted to her Instagram Stories earlier this month where she could be seen watching the romantic drama The Notebook.

“What if Abelena is really over?” @gomezsgrande asked amid the breakup speculation. “Makes sense why Selena posted that video of her being all sad and watching The Notebook.”

“I’ve been thinking Abelena was having trouble for days,” another fan tweeted of the split rumors. “Selena came back to NYC just to see him & he got a hotel & she dipped before his show.”
